TF Green Entrance Canopy
The entry reflects the influence of aerodynamic streamlined forms that were synonymous with modern transportation in the 1930s.
To restore the architectural feature that’s welcomed generations to Rhode Island, Martone prepared and re-painted TF Green Airport’s entrance canopy, main terminal roof support beams, and seamless deck coating. Keeping the facility operational, the team managed powerwashing and sandblasting of existing concrete, surface preparation of steel, correction of steel and fabrication defects, removal of rust scale buildup, and application of high-performance coating.
